Work Hard for Your Dream

Hard Work (Hustle)

Regardless of how big our goal and dream are, we strive for it as if our lives depend on it.

Those times you work hard.  That’s the dream. It’s not the destination, it’s the journey. (Kobe Bryant)

Listen, the work is behind the scenes.
Competition is the easy part.
Behind the scenes
is where all the work is done.
Everything’s done to
get to that one race that you need to run.

The separation of talent and skill is
one of the greatest misunderstood concepts
for people who are trying to excel,
who have dreams, who want to do things.
Talent you have naturally.
Skill is only developed by
hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft.
I’ve never really viewed myself as
particularly talented.
Where I excel is
ridiculous, sickening work ethic.
You know, while the other guy’s sleeping,
I’m working.
While the other guys’ eating,
I’m working.

Those times when you get up early and you work hard
Those times you stay up late and you work hard.
Those times when you don’t feel like working.
You’re too tired. You don’t want to push yourself,
but you do it anyway.
That is actually the dream.
That’s the dream.
It’s not the destination,
it’s the journey.

If it was easy,
everybody would be doing it.
There are always gonna be ups and downs,
but I really think it’s how you
You know, really get back on your horse
and keep going forward
And I think the biggest thing that I’ve always said: “Never Give UP”
and I’ve never have
and nobody ever should.
They want something bad enough,
go get it

There’s no easy way around it.
No matter how talented you are,
your talent is going to fail you if you’re not skilled.
I’m not afraid to die on a treadmill.
You might have more talent than me;
you might be smarter than me.
But if we get on a treadmill together,
there’s two things:
you’re getting off first,
or I’m gonna die.
It’s really that simple.

But it ain’t about how hard ya hit.
It’s about how hard you can get hit
and keep moving forward.
How much you can take
and keep moving forward.
That’s how winning is done!

The body has limitations,
the mind does not.
If you’re not mentally ready,
your never really physically prepared.

Now if you know what you’re worth
then go out and get what you’re worth.
But ya gotta be willing to take the hits,
and not pointing fingers saying
you ain’t where you wanna be because of
him, or her, or anybody!
Cowards do that
and that ain’t you!
You’re better than that!
